1 Month Experience

My experience at IIJNM has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in the field of journalism. There have been many opportunities to learn more ways of improving my work. For example the reporting and writing section has taught me many writing tips and rules that I was unaware of writing for broadcast and because of this, I realized that I still had a lot to learn. My English program has also allowed me to gain more knowledge about literature and how language plays an important role in a life of a journalist. I also learned more about the camera and tools which has been used for broadcast journalism. My 1 month experience at IIJNM has taught me one fundamental thing that life of a journalist is unpredictable. It might be good, bad and sometime not interest you but you should always expect anything to happen. For example you might have a wonderful story this moment and not even have a story the next moment. IIJNM just prepares me for all of this. It has also stressed to me the importance of critical thinking and asking question in many situations. The journey from Delhi to Bangalore has been giving me the learning of many different religious ideas and it has also given me a better understanding of other’s belief and traditions no matter what region of the country they originated.  In last I hope after the completion of 10 month I learn a lot from this institution and become a good journalist.

LINGERIE: A FANTASY OR A FEAR?

LINGERIE:           A FANTASY   OR A FEAR?

L: lust

I: intimacy

N: naughty

G: glamour

E: erotic

R: romantic

I: intense

E: evocative

A lingerie itself has a world of lust, intimacy, naughtiness, glamour, erotic, romantic, intense and evocative. Beautiful, pretty intimate apparel in today’s world is for every woman. Play up for feminine side, your sexy and seductive side or even your gentle and innocent side by wearing a fabulous lingerie that make you feel confident from the inside out. The right lingerie can make you feel everything from sexy and seductive to more just like the girl next door. Lingerie is a gift to make your boobs feel more special. It is a gift of love, romance and passion. In today’s world, sexy lingerie is a worn and beloved wardrobe essential and why not lingerie make you feel confident as well as pretty. Plus your guy is going to love it. Lingerie is a fire way to get in touch with in your inner femininity. There is nothing as intimate or deeply female as lingerie. Wearing something that makes you feel beautiful, even if it is hidden underneath your clothing will do something magical inside you.

When I talk about lingerie, I’m talking delicate fabrics and exquisite cuts; objects of beauty that adore and adorn your body. There are special piece that never fail to make me feel sexy and confident. When it is a time to buy a lingerie, automatically a huge FANTASY comes into my mind. What should I buy? Which color I should prefer more? Which bra will go with which piece of dress? Every girl or a women in the world have a huge fantasy of buying lingerie. Some have the fantasy of buying an items such as a sexy stretch lace baby doll can help bring the bust to the forefront and make the mid-section more subdued. A sexy pair of booty shorts can help to accentuate the buttocks while a pair of sexy stockings can bring attention to that great set of legs. Girls make a fantasy will buying a bra even, that which type of bra she is going to buy like Convertible bra, which is an important piece in every woman’s wardrobe. Demi cup bra, this bra style covers roughly half of the breast, and lifts your girl’s front and center for added cleavage.

Adhesive bra, every woman needs an adhesive bra in her chest of drawers, since the bra provides support in even the most revealing fashions. Push-up bra, the push-up bra lifts your breasts towards the center for cleavage, but with the added help of padding. Strapless bra, these are designed to wear with strapless dresses or shirts, and provide lift without the use of straps. Shelf bra, Need some sexy time? The shelf bra might be the perfect bra to mix things up in the bedroom. The bralette is a pretty, lacy bra that is wireless and usually doesn’t have padded cups. It’s a comfortable bra best worn with your Netflix and chill outfits or with any casual weekend wear. From a single woman to a girl having a partner have a fantasy of buying a sexy lingerie. Everyone wants to look pretty under her clothes and sometime this fantasy comes out of your comfortable level even.

Then how a fantasy convert into a fear? Can lingerie create a fear in her mind? NO lingerie never create a fear it’s something the visibility of your lingerie which create a fear in you. I know some of you are not getting my point what I’m actually trying to say. Almost every girl heard this line “oye madam apki bra ki strap dikh rahi hai” and suddenly all the fantasy disappear and a dozen of shame of wearing a bra comes into her mind. The girl who has a fantasy of buying a sexy lingerie is now getting uncomfortable just because her strap is getting visible from her clothes. Buying a sexy bra means feel sexy and confident and when the same bra gets visible all the confidence vanish. So what, if her bra is visible she has boobs, she wear a bra to cover it. Why her bra shows up even when you want her to hide it? Because she wear it! Now, there are reasons. To start with, she must hide her strap because there are droolers out there, ready to pounce; ready to rip her clothes apart. Some will tell you that you ought to hide it because it is part of an underwear, and showing of underwear is just not so couth, not so “cultured”. Now can we expect a girl to live in a lingerie fantasy zone when we know she has a fear of showing it? The funniest part is that the visibility of the bra-strap suddenly makes you a slut. You are immediately given tags like “desperate” and “needy”. And there is no one you can go ask for help, because everyone will tell you it was your fault! And then they talk about getting rid of sex education in the education system.

So decide, for you LINGERIE is a fantasy or a cause of fear ?

Energy drinks are popular among gamers, students, athletes, professionals, and anyone who has to drive overnight from Milwaukee to St. Louis. They’re big business, too. Americans spent $12.5 billion on energy drinks in 2012. Market experts predict that number to climb to $21.5 billion in 2017.[1] It’s clear that these drinks are only growing in popularity. With so many people guzzling them down every day, can energy drinks really be that bad? The short answer is yes.

Energy drinks can be devastating for your health. They contribute to heart problems, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, anxiety, insomnia, and a host of other health risks. In some rare cases, energy drinks have even proved fatal.

A Growing Public Health Concern

In 2011, 16-year-old Sara Milosevic went to a party where she consumed several pre-mixed alcoholic energy drinks. A few hours later she was vomiting violently. Other partygoers just assumed she couldn’t handle her alcohol. At 11 pm, the teen called her parents to come pick her up. By 3 am, Sara was dead. An autopsy revealed that her blood alcohol content was only .04—not even enough to be considered legally drunk. Sara’s father, a chemist, believes the energy drinks caused her death.[2, 3]

In 2011, mere days before Christmas, 14-year-old Anais Fournier suffered a fatal heart attack. In the 48 hours before her death, she consumed four energy drinks. In total, Anais consumed 480 mg of caffeine—less than one-tenth the official fatal dosage of the stimulant, but almost five times more than the recommended limit for adolescents. Doctors speculate that the energy drinks agitated a pre-existing genetic heart condition.[4

It’s not just teens who are affected. In 2015, 28-year-old Martin Bowling suffered a heart attack after consuming eight energy drinks at a pub. Bowling was rushed to a hospital and survived. He had been spending $150 a week on energy drinks.

“I’d been drinking them for about seven years, and it was like I’d become addicted,” said Bowling. “Now I see those drinks as death in a can.”[5, 6]

Even popular athletes can succumb to the toxicity of energy drinks. In 2003, professional wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was hospitalized with severe heart palpitations. He believes that his then habit of consuming 3-5 energy drinks every day was a primary cause of the health crisis.

“I think I’m dying, dying for sure,” Austin recalls of the event. “My heart’s beating so hard it feels like it’s going to crack a rib jumping out of my ch

est. My heart might be doing 160 or 180 beats per minute. My legs are shaking and I can’t make them stop. I’m sure I’m having a heart attack.”[7]

Between 2004 and 2014, energy drinks have officially been a factor in at least 34 deaths.[8] Unofficially, perhaps many more. Caffeine deaths are often attributable to other factors and may be severely underreported and undiagnosed. Some doctors suspect that the actual number could be much higher.[9] Thousands of people have been hospitalized with symptoms of energy drink overdose, including insomnia, anxiety, convulsions, high blood pressure, heart attacks, and other cardiovascular complications. The wings that energy drinks give you might just come with a harp and halo.

How Your Body Reacts to Energy Drinks

We all need a little energy boost now and then, but there are healthier options. Energy drinks are a chemical cocktail of caffeine, refined sugar, and other ingredients. Some of which, like herbs and vitamins, may even sound healthy. What is it that makes energy drinks so dangerous?

One study looked at the effect that consuming just one 16-ounce can of a leading brand of energy drink had on basic, vital functions. The findings? Blood pressure jumped an average of 6.6 points within thirty minutes of consumption, and norepinephrine, a stress hormone, increased by 75%. Norepinephrine also enhances the production of cortisol, a fat-storing hormone, significantly increasing the risk of weight gain.[10]

Energy drink manufacturers maintain that their products are safe when consumed in

recommended amounts. Do you know what the maximum recommended intake is? For most brands, it’s two or three cans per day. For some, it’s only one.

These warnings are easy to miss. Manufacturers usually hide them in small print on the back of the can with the other information that few people bother to read—that’s if the warning is on there at all. Make no mistake, beverage companies want you to drink as much of their product as possible.

There are two main health dangers of energy drinks—neurological and cardiological. In other words, your nervous system and your heart. These problems are caused by the very same ingredients that make you feel energized—staggeringly high levels of caffeine and sugar.

WHAT IS LIFE ?

WHAT IS LIFE ?

Life is the name of purpose, struggle, love, dedication and a number of feelings and emotions. Life shows its true colors with time. It depends upon you that how you look towards life and what is your strategy of leading an ideal life.

Life takes a number of turns during its whole span. Life may not be kind to you all the times. There are tough times which really test your courage and your capabilities of facing unfavorable situations. How well you tackle these adverse conditions prove your credibility. People who just close their eyes to avoid facing the hardships of life are coward. They do not have courage and stamina to stand firm in front of life’s demon. Remember that nothing can be done without trying, without striving hard to get yourself out of the trouble, without facing the situations. Such incidents in life improve your approach towards destiny. These incidents may entirely change one’s life (in some cases). These make your thinking a bit more rational. If there were no such thrills in life, it would be quite boring and monotonous. These incidents make you strong nerved person. In other words, life tests you all the time.

“Life is different from a teacher because teacher teaches a lesson and takes the exam but life takes exam first and then teaches a lesson.”

When you are in love, life changes its meanings, priorities and requirements. Life seems to be confined within the kingdom of your loved one’s heart. Life is a gift of God and to love and being loved is the best feeling in life which has no parallel. Everyone wishes to live a blissful life with his/her life partner. Life can be blissful only if you know each other, understand well and stand for each other through bad times.

Do not waste your life. Life should have some purpose. Identify your aim, head towards your destiny and spend your entire life in achieving your goals. This is what we call life. It is a wise saying that time waits for no one. Once it is spent, it is gone. We’ve got to be wise in choosing our priorities so as not to waste any of our precious time. Keep on trying to get your goals and don’t lose hope. It is said by Paulo Coelho:
When you want something, the entire universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

Life is worthless without hope. Hope is the key element in life which never lets you down and keeps your morals high. Always be optimistic and have faith in God. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes a slight inconvenience makes us to think that we are unfortunate, life is cruel etc but this is not the reality. Spread optimism instead of pessimism. It will light up your life positively.

Remember that:

“The darkest hour of night comes just before the dawn.”
The inspiration of life is to serve mankind. Spread happiness and you will be blessed!!

AM I THE ONLY ONE?

DEAR LIFE,

AM I THE ONLY ONE???

I was a baby when I was born. People treated me so good at a time, saying that I am cute and beautiful. I felt we have very good people in the world. I was a young girl when I grew up then also they treated me nice saying that I am clever. I felt we have nice people in this world. I am a grown up girl now and hear the words hot n sexy come from them. Do I feel the same way about them now!! May be no
Since my childhood I grew up studying the same education like others do. I went to school, I watched movies, I celebrated festivals, I enjoyed holidays. I have spent the life the same way like other do. But now am I the only seeing the different world around me?
Because when I am at home I have millions of lecture from my parents telling me to be careful with the world outside. I say to myself when there are so many girls who can survive outside, why can’t I? Whenever I walk in the streets I see guys looking at me, staring at me, try to find the chance to talk to me , to get closer to me, I feel there in tensions I fear inside but I just keep moving on. Am I the only one who faces this bullshit??
When I was in college, I got so many proposals. I have seen guys fighting with each other just to get me.
I used to ask myself don’t I have the choice to pick the right guy for me. Or am I the only girl who is facing this problem the days have passed I tried to be happy with myself. I have seen different people in my life. Everyone seems nice at first. I know there are good guys and bad guys in the world. But the problem is, we can’t judge the true color of a person until we get close to them. The fear inside me always made me to not to respond to guys who are strangers. Am I the only one who fear to share her problem with her parents?? Just not to make them tensed and worried?? I started feeling so lonely. I think every boy and girl need someone to take care of them, someone to share their feelings, someone to talk to, to walk along the same way, to understand them, to share their problems, someone to be happy with. Or I am the only one who feels like that???
Yes I fell in love with a guy who was tall and handsome. He was so loving and caring I used to talk to him every day. I couldn’t spend a day without him in my heart and mind. I thought he was the one. I was so honest with him. We used to be a very good couple. Our all day chatting talking. We used to feel jealous if we talk to other boys and girls. We used to feel like we are in a different world with each other
But one day
That world collapsed.
He found another girl, he left me. I was heartbroken. I was in tears whenever I was alone. I couldn’t handle myself anywhere it was so tough to mingle with people. Those memory used to haunt me. I wanted to end my life. I tried to commit suicide. But then, I ask myself again. Am I the only who has such a story??? My parents brought me matches to get me married. They used to tell me to be careful with strangers. But now how is it right when they bring a stranger and ask me to marry him? Am I the only one who has this question? I don’t understand this world’s perceptions. I see women being treated like objects in movies. I see women being praised on days like women’s day and mother’s day. I see women being a center of attraction at colleges, offices, streets and everywhere. I see women getting raped every day. Facebook, whatsaap, mobile number, see guys trying to reach a girl in every possible way. I wish I could tell them, Brother, why don’t you take care of your own sister, instead to trying to reach to someone else’s sister?
All I want is a little care, all I look for is some true love. All I need is respect as a person but not as an object. Is this world treating women right? Or am i the only one thinking like this??
Am I the only one girl…
